If you have someone who has symptoms, they stay home and follow the state guidelines for returning to play.

Positive / Close contact requirements:

If you have someone who has had close contact (closer than 6ft for more than 15mins in a day) then that person needs to quarantine for 10 days and monitor for symptoms. They can also get a negative test 5 days after the close contact and return to practice/games 7 days after the close contact with that negative test result. Please note that in cases where determining a close contact is not possible (i.e. game & scrimmage situations), all players are considered close contact and required to quarantine.

When players/teams are required to quarantine, these are the instructions from the state website:

https://covid.ri.gov/covid-19-prevention/quarantine-and-isolation

Out of State Travel:

If you have someone who travels to one of these states: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSUCk9FlHBoJt5ZO0U6PKTTY7jHH8V4MovED0WiqpTTixdgMSCnUWI25xX5DCmQmtLknzu7Bo0jwY02/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true, they must either quarantine for 10 days, or provide a negative test within 72 hours of returning to RI and may break quarantine and just monitor for symptoms.

Free testing is available and can be scheduled online at https://portal.ri.gov/gettested/s/
